A Spiritual Doorway To Healing
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Healing does not come in one official shape, and it does not require you to follow someone else’s map.
In today's episode we explore a different doorway that many people overlook: spirituality as connection, and connection as a lived relationship with your own body, breath, intuition, and sense of meaning.
My guest, Alejandro Salomone, is a spiritual guide, vision architect, and founder of Bravery Living, and his story starts in a place many listeners will recognize: leaving the US military with PTSD, depression, and anxiety, then hitting a personal breaking point that forced a choice between staying stuck or getting honest about what needed to change.
Here's some of what we're covering today:
• Nature as an entry point for meditation, breathwork, and inner clarity
• Bravery as self-permission to face fear, trauma, and old identities
• Leaving a corporate career to follow purpose and deepen self-trust
• Doubt, confusion, and the difference between anxious mind and inner knowing
• Spirituality defined as connection and energy as the common language
• Beliefs and perception shaping lived experience, including a science metaphor
• Alejandro’s personal health scare story and what it taught him about surrender
• Frequency metaphors for healing, including sound, tuning forks, and attention
• Nervous system regulation as a foundation for feeling safe enough to heal
• Simple breath practice you can use anywhere to calm the body
If you've been running on autopilot, overwhelmed by choices, or craving a path that feels like yours, this conversation offers grounded places to start today.
I hope you enjoy today's episode as much as I did recording it and if this resonates, please remember to subscribe, share this with someone who needs a new doorway to healing, and leave a review so more people can find the show. 🙏

Many Doorways To Healing
SPEAKER_00Hello and welcome back to the Ground and Root Podcast. I'm your host and holistic cancer dietitian Dion DeTrenz. This month, we are exploring the concept that there are many different doorways to healing, that not everyone's healing path needs to look the same for it to work. And what I believe is most important is that you find the doorway that resonates the most with you, that calls to you. In my experience, once you enter that doorway, the others open up to you much more easily. So in today's episode, we're going to dive into one such doorway that perhaps you haven't thought of before. And I think as you'll learn today, it has some really powerful benefits. I have a really special guest joining me to talk about this. His name is Alejandro Salamone. He is a spiritual guide and vision architect. He's also the founder of Bravery Living. And his work blends energy healing and consciousness exploration as well as deep personal transformation to help people step into their alignment and their highest self. And it's really more of a spiritual path towards healing. And I'm really excited to dive into that with all of you today. So, Alejandro, welcome. I'm so happy to have you here.
SPEAKER_01Thank you. Thank you so much. It's an honor and a pleasure to be here, truly. Thank you.
SPEAKER_00You're so welcome. Thank you for taking the time. So I would love to just before we dive into the actual work,
Rock Bottom And The Choice
SPEAKER_00just tell us a little bit about you and how you got to do this work. And then we can dive into what it actually is.
SPEAKER_01Sure. Well, it's a kind of a long story, but I'll keep it short. I feel like we we all go through moments in our lives, right, where we are really challenged in some way, shape, or form, emotionally, physically, or mentally. And for me, it was one of those times in 2017 as I had just separated. I was in the military in the United States, and I was separating from the military, and I found out that I had PTSD and depression and anxiety. And I was not having a good time. I was not really feeling great at all in any way, physically, emotionally, mentally. And I was married at the time, and all I had was what I felt was my wife at the time. And she just, I don't know how to help you anymore. So I just I want a divorce. And that was the breaking point for me. That's when I reached rock bottom. And that is when I started to realize, okay, like I need to really heal. I need to understand what is who am I? Why do I feel this way? Why am I having these episodes? Why is all of this happening? And most importantly, I didn't want to live life like this anymore. So I had to make a decision, and which was very challenging at the time because I didn't know how I was gonna do it. But I just said, no matter what, I'm going to do it. So I stopped doing, I was drinking alcohol, I stopped drinking alcohol, I threw away all the medicine, everything out. I looked at myself in the mirror one morning and I said, I'm gonna do this. I don't know how, but I'm going to do this. And so that began for me my healing journey, where I started to confront my fears, my insecurities, my trauma, everything that I was carrying on for all those years of my life and that I didn't know. I just said, It's time, it's time to get clear, it's time to understand. And so from there, it really opened so much for me.
Nature As The First Teacher
SPEAKER_01And I didn't know what meditation was, I didn't know what breath work was, none of these things back then. It just automatically happened by going out to nature. I was living in California at the time, and I would go to the beach and spend hours just staring into the ocean. And I one time I just remember I closed my eyes, I took a deep breath when I was processing a very intense memory. And when I let go of the breath, I felt better. And I opened my eyes and I saw the waves coming in, right? And I was like, wow, this is like this is life. Like each wave is a thought, each wave is a memory, and it keeps going. But when you look out into the horizon, you're a part of much something much bigger. It's the ocean, right? It's the world. And it just began for me this way to things start to come online as I continue to go deeper into my healing, and it was all by myself, right? I didn't really have any program or therapy or anything like that. I went to, and I needed to go through it by myself, and so that began to evolve. I began to connect more deeper with myself, understand different versions of myself, releasing, forgiving, and just tuning in deeper within myself, my connection with this earth and the universe. And as time went on, I went on many journeys, right? I studied some time in the Amazon rainforest. I lived with an indigenous tribe there and studied a lot. I learned a lot about life, about their technology, plant medicine, and different types of plants as well. How to heal the body with the plants that we have on our planet, right? And also understand energy. And then I Tibetan started to learn about Tibet and Hinduism, and it's just started to all come to me, though. It wasn't something that I went to go seeking, it's just I would get in a dream in a meditation, and I would go deeper. And all of this led me to unpack my own consciousness and within that to connect within the awareness that I had consciously and unconsciously, expand on that to the consciousness of the universe, if you will. And I started to perceive energy more, I started to understand. Oh wow, like I can feel this vibration in my fingers, and I would practice and I would uh expand my awareness, and then I could start to see colors and see more things and feel more things and know more things. But it's at the end of the day, it was just all energy. So there were things that happened along the we'll talk more, but uh that I got to test with my own hands, with my own body, how to heal myself, how to move energy. Understand that everything is energy, all the diseases, all the things that happen in our body, it's just energy, it's an expression of energy, and there's a way to work with it, there's a way to transmute that energy.
SPEAKER_00So I'm curious, it's like it's a lot. I appreciate though, I appreciate though that you because as you're telling this story, even though I have heard your story before, but as I was hearing it again, one of the initial thoughts I had, which then made me think perhaps listeners would think that as well, is like with doing this on your own without having a guide or a provider or somebody to shepherd you through this journey, how to know where to start? And you answered that. And I love that you like your intuition took you to the beach, took you to nature. And then that kind of opened the doorway to everything else beginning to come online for you, right? So, do you feel like I correct me if I'm if that's not right, but was that sort of like your entry point to this whole journey?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, yes. And that has continued to excuse me, to play a big role. That is what I guide people to. Ultimately, is that we all have that intuition, right? So some of us don't want to listen, some of us we don't know how to listen, or some of us question it, but we all have it. And so I just was at such a bad point of my life, at such a low point, such a desperate point of just I was like, I have nothing else but just what I'm feeling inside of myself.
SPEAKER_00It also it also makes more sense to me now, too, that your that your work is called bravery living because you really had to take a leap of faith, right? To just be like, I don't know what to do, I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but I know it needs to be different. So I'm just gonna go for it. I'm just gonna jump in. You have to be really brave.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. It how it came to be the name bravery is I realized the only thing we really have to be brave with in our lives is ourselves, to be brave, to give ourselves the permission to explore life, to heal, to phase the things within ourselves and to just live, right? To heal, to do everything, just be brave for you. That's the only thing you really got to be brave for.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like that. That's beautiful.
From Self Healing To Service
SPEAKER_00Okay, as you this was like almost 10 years ago now, right? When you began this path, as more and more understanding and tools and things came online for you, and you mentioned being able to work with energy. At what point? I'm assuming you probably did some energy work on yourself. Like I'm assuming, I don't know, you can tell us, but at what point did you decide I need to help others do this? What did that transition look like for you?
SPEAKER_01That's a beautiful question. So I I would say that the first two years from my awakening, what one what I could call it, like the awakening, it was just devotion to oneself, it was just doing the work, like heavy work, right? I really devoted myself for those two years. I even isolated myself a little bit because I needed to just stay focused. And I was like, oh, there's another layer. Oh my gosh, there's another layer. And so there came a point after I'd say about two, two and a half years or so, where my per as I was healing, as I was doing things, my inner work, obviously, my outer world was changing as well. My perception of the world was shifting, right? And I was attracting different types of people in my life, I was attracting different types of experiences and opportunities because the way I was perceiving the world from the inside myself was changing. So therefore, it was responding, right? And so there came a point where I was working at Google, right? And I was big in the corporate world, and I got there because I was I wanted to work there after leaving the military. I got into marketing and I wasn't really passionate about it, but it was something that I was like, okay, it's an opportunity, I'm just gonna take it, right? However, at this point now, I've been doing the work and the healing, and of course it continues, but it's something shifted after those two and a half years, and I was working at Google and I was like, what do I really want to do with my life? Do I really just want to work here? And the money is great, I could be set up for a career and everything. Or do I want to explore this feeling I have inside of myself? That's it's I I don't know what it is, but something inside of me is pulling me, it's asking me to explore it around what is it that I'm here to do? What is my purpose here? So, long story short, I decided to take a year off, right? I'm gonna say, I'm gonna leave this place. I have enough funds saved up that I can survive, and I'm going to explore it. What is it that I'm here to do? I had already gone hints here and there. It got stronger and stronger, the feeling of not wanting to be there. And then I just said I went on that journey. I started to sit with myself. I already had the tools, right? I was like, okay, I can I know if I meditate, if I breathe, if I find my center, I let go, I can receive guidance. And uh I feel like I think it was one month after I left, I was it just came and started just coming, just so much I download, yes, constantly, right? Yeah, and so that that's what it was. It's I I just realized I love helping people, and I've experienced some things in my life that I feel can help others. And even when I was in the military, when I was in different places, Google and stuff like that, people would come gravitate towards me, and there was share to me with me things. They're like, I don't know why I'm sharing this with you. I'm sorry. It's okay. It's I'm used to it.
SPEAKER_00More so now, probably.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um, yes, especially now. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I I really like too this idea of reconnecting to the soul and the idea of our purpose, right? The path that we're, let's say, I guess our souls want to be on. I'm hesitant to use the word meant to, because I don't know, but that it wants to experience in this lifetime. And I think it's not unusual for maybe the majority of people to not necessarily be tuned into that or listening to that. We get often stuck down a certain path that for whatever reason happened and we just stay with that path. So I'm curious in your experience, because we can talk about like how why that's important for others, but for even just in your experience first, once you made that decision to take a pause from Google and really connect with what I am meant to do, what is my soul's path? I wonder if more things too just came online for you, even energetically and in your own healing. Did you feel like that that shifted things for you as well?
SPEAKER_01Yes, that's a big one, actually. It's
Trust Versus The Busy Mind
SPEAKER_01a very good question and a very important point because absolutely I want to emphasize that the journey wasn't always just waking up and oh yeah, I just trust.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_01It's even though like the downloads were coming, even though the things were coming, there were many times where I questioned it. Absolutely. I questioned it. I was like, I don't know about that. And because I didn't have that connection, I was just introducing myself to my own trust, I was just bringing awareness to my own self-trust, and within the idea of the soul, it's that deeper uncon or subconscious connection that's that was taking place literally as different neurons are firing into different directions, right? And so this is it's a process and it's a holistic process. It's you experience it psychologically, mentally, emotionally, physically in all the ways because your whole biochemistry, your whole energetic field, it's shifting. And so for me, it was a journey. And it I just want to emphasize that it wasn't just always easy. It definitely I had some days where I felt confused, I feel lost, I felt because I was so much trying to figure things out from the mind. But the minute I would lean into, I would breathe, I would go back to the basics, I would breathe, take a deep breath, and then just and then let go of those thoughts, let go of those things, and just realign myself to the trust. Then wow, whoa, I'm having an experience right now, right? And there will be moments where I would dive into that experience, and then there would be moments where okay, what was that? And then it would just stop, right? Yeah, because I would come out of it. And so what I want to say preface is it's the process was something that was it's very real for me. It was very real that trusting it's all around trusting what it's happening to you, and not being like, Oh, I'm going crazy, or this is whatever. It's like no, this is happening, and I don't know what it is, but I'm here to explore it. I'm here to try it out. So, yeah, it was a journey, but the more I lean into that trust, the more it would happen, the more it would open, things would happen in my body. Like knowings, that was the best part. It's like I just know that I need to do this. And whether it's moving energy through my own body or going to a waterfall or going to the ocean and breathing a certain way, doing like a breath work style, and then going into the water, holding my breath, and being at the bottom of the ocean for like a minute, and then coming up, and then whoa, my whole body's buzzing and I feel different. So just things like this, I it did definitely start to come more online. It's just these knowings.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, your intuition, right? Like we could that could be another way to describe that. Like it was becoming louder, harder to ignore, maybe. Yes, yeah, exactly. Okay, so if this feels a little esoteric for people, let's just say if you're kind of new to all this, some of you may not be, some of you are like, I've been on the spiritual journey for quite a while, so this is all very familiar. And for others, it might be like, wow, this is all brand new. Let's just talk a little bit like understanding the why it could even be helpful to explore this because I imagine, like you said, it's not always easy. It's not always, it doesn't always feel good. It doesn't right, sometimes it might even be a little scary if what you're hearing is asking you to completely change something in your life. Like that could feel like a lot. Right.
Energy Belief And The Observer
SPEAKER_00So tell us at least what why do you think it's so important for us to really do this work and reconnect to our soul and listen and really allow ourselves the opportunity to have this journey?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. Well, I feel it's important for various reasons. Number one reason is the idea of spirituality, the word spirituality. There's a lot of meaning that people give to that word, and it has different definitions for people. And so for me, starting there is what that word really means to me is just connection, right? That's all it means to me. Whatever practice, whatever thing you do, or how you connect with that word spirituality is if you really dissect, if we really unpack it, you're just connecting, you're seeking connection with yourself, with the universe, with purpose, with our planet, whatever it may be. So from the space of connection, right? Then I they say, okay, what is connection? Connection is energy. What is energy? Energy is everything, whether you are spiritual, religious, non-religious, non-spiritual, just science. It doesn't matter. Energy is energy, right? And we cannot argue that that is the universal language for all that is to me, right? That doesn't get conflicted with well, scientists or this or that. So from the space of energy, we agree that everything is energy, and science, human science, says that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, it can only be transmuted or transformed from one essence to another. Therefore, if this is true is how we think and believe that energy is, then nothing is created, everything is transmuted. So think about that for a moment. If everything is energy and it can all be transmuted, it can all be shifted, then that is the beginning of understanding the world that we live in, the reality that we live in. And so it's about okay, what my brain, the way I think, shifts the reality in which I am perceiving that I am having. Science, we know that we've taken particles or light particles, right? And we have this machine where they observed it as the light particles was going through a crack, right? There was a like a crack like this of two walls, and the light went through the crack, right? And when it was observed, it behaved just as you would expect it. The light went through that crack and it per projected that light at the end past the crack, right? As a sliver of light. Now, when the light was not observed by a human, then the light was everywhere. The light particles were everywhere, beyond the wall. This is science. This is no longer woo-woo stuff, hypothesis. There's proof now, right? And so what this says, what this means, is that when the light is observed, it behaves as it's we think it should observe. Um, excuse me, it should behave. Right? It acts the way it should we think that it should behave like that. It should go through that crack and it should only be there. But when we don't watch it, it doesn't get influence and it's everywhere. And so this is goes back to our belief systems, right? So it starts there, it starts to understand that there's so much that we don't understand. Right, as we are now beginning to more with science to be able to have proof, um, there's so much that happens within ourselves that it's unconscious, and everything is interacting with itself, including ourselves, right? Because it's all energy, and so this is the beginning of always understanding that okay, if I believe I can heal myself truly, right? Then the particles will behave as such, right? That if the chair that you and I are you're sitting that I'm sitting on, it's realistically, it's just vibrating, right? And but it becomes solid because we believe, right? We believe that's a solid chair that I can sit on, right? So just to pause there for a moment, just because I wanted to paint this picture, this broad picture about the simplicity, yet complexity of all that is this energy and the way we interact with things, is it starts there, and from there it's when we connect with our intuition, when we start to connect with that inner world within our we bring awareness, right? Whether it's through the breath, whether it's through meditation, whichever way it is. And psychologically speaking, we literally start to connect to our subconscious mind more, then we are tapping into a different state of consciousness. And yes, it's scary only because we've been programmed to think a certain way. We've been programmed to think that when the light goes through that, it should only behave like that. But if we could train ourselves, imagine imagine if you saw a crack and then you saw the light everywhere, it would blow your mind. And you would be like, How is that possible? Right? Because it wouldn't make any sense because from what you know, what you've been taught, what you think you know is it should only behave like that. So that same thing is within ourselves. Oh, I should only think like this, that's only possible if this I'm receiving things that's I'm crazy, that's not real, it's imagination, all these things.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But we're living in a time where people are waking up, it's a collective thing. Yeah, it's no longer just you, me, and a couple other Joes out there in the world, it's more and more people, and so it's becoming something that it's hard to look to deny, but it cannot be understood because there's it's new. How can you understand something that you've never experienced or you don't know?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_01So there's a lot there, of course, that we can go into because there is, but at the end of the day, it's it goes back again to what I said earlier. It's just yeah, it's scary, yeah, it's different. Yeah, it's inviting us all to be brave, to be like, I don't know what this is, but you know, I choose to trust. It's time that I trust myself. I just explore this and see what happens.
SPEAKER_00Right. On the other side of the coin, it could be exciting, the possibility and the potential, as opposed to the scary unknown because it's different than what I've always thought it should be. That right, we could flip that and just be like, wow, the potential is really limitless. And actually, you're right, it this is becoming more and more mainstream. Even just this week of this recording, two studies came across my desk around energy and cancer in particular. One looking at thoughts and how you to your point that you just said about that we when we really believe, you know, it's not just like we're not just saying the words, but we really believe that we can heal, that researchers at Harvard show that was more powerful than taking any supplements on influencing how the body functions, right? And then another study looking at an energy worker actually working on cancer cells and changing them back to harmonious, healthy cells with just energy. And these are mainstream, mainstream studies. So I do think the potential is really cool, particularly if you're in the middle of a healing journey and you're scared because of that. This doorway, I think, opens up limitless possibility.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. And it's multi-layered. Sure, of course. Yeah, it's yes, it's exciting and it is great. And it is really what it comes down to, I believe, right? It's just remembering what it means to be a human being. Okay, because we are energy, right? We are. I say this again, and so we there are people that walked this earth, like Buddha, for example, or Jeshua or Jesus, yeah, Gandhi. There's all these big spiritual people that have walked, right? They've done these miracles, they've performed these miracles. But for me, in reality, is these were masters of consciousness. They just they tapped into a reality, they knew how to manipulate energy, right? The idea of walking on water, it's exactly what we're talking about. Is if you believe that you the wall could the water is walkable, the water will vibrate harder so that you can step on it, just how we're sitting on this chair, right? And you can walk on water, just how the monks do it as well, right? And they can walk on rice paper and manipulate gravity and all it's just energy, it's belief systems.
A Cyst Scare And A Radical Reset
SPEAKER_01So I experienced that with when they found a cyst in my hip that was they thought it was going to be cancerous, and they found some spotching in my liver. And I was this was like four years ago or something like that, and they had to I had to get a biopsy, so they drilled into my hip to get a biopsy, and I told them I want to be awake, I want to be here for this. And I left my body. I asked the nurse, she said, You never passed out, your eyes were open, you were sitting up, you were watching, us drilling to you, but I don't remember that because I left, right? And I was shown in this experience, I was shown what that was. The cancer has been had been passed on from my both sides of my parents, right? From generations upon generations. Everybody, all my grandparents, they've left very young this earth, they transition now because of cancer. And I was like, okay, I was shown, I was shown the energy of it, the trauma, right? The engagement of generations upon generation that that it's like a map, right? It gets recorded into the DNA and then it gets passed on, and then people do things like that. They did their ancestors did. Oh, I don't know. I just I like to smoke. I don't know why. I just well, my your grandfather was smoking, your great grandfather, and then it's in your it's in your DNA, let's just say it. Put it this way, right?
SPEAKER_03With quotations.
SPEAKER_01And so they did the biopsy, they came back, everything was good. That's well, they said that it's non-cancerous, right? And but there's some concern around the liver and things like this, so they're like, We're gonna do a checkup in 30 days. So I received at this point too fast for those 30 days. So I went on a water fast, dry slash water fast, and I meditated an hour-ish if 35 to an hour a day, and all I would focus was in that area, and I would go into states of like I feel like I wasn't in my body, and I would receive more flashes of things in my life that it meant things in my parents' life and in my in my ancestors' life, of what this tumor was, and then I was focusing on dissolving it, and I would just that's when I would do it with my eyes closed, my hands, I would just imagine just sending light into that area and dissolving, and just I would just move my hands like this, and I did that for 30 days. 30 days, no food came back for a follow-up. My liver was not only completely gone, like all the things the spotching, not gone, all the spotching and stuff like that was gone clean. Also, the tumor they did the biopsy on was gone completely. The doctor didn't understand what just happened, and then he was like, Not only this, but your vitals are you're like a superhuman. It's what his words, he's like, I everything is above average, everything. He's everything is above average. He's like, I want to do this again because I feel like there's maybe there's something going on, but they ran the labs three times already because I couldn't believe this. So then there, all these other doctors from different parts of the world were calling me, they were asking me the questions, and they couldn't believe when I told them, Well, what did you do? What did you take? And I'm I yeah, I didn't take anything.
SPEAKER_00Literally nothing except some water.
SPEAKER_01That was it. Yeah, well, what did you learn about this? I'm like, it just came to me, and just confused because I was guided on there was one time that I had to drink charcoal, right? I just saw charcoal, I'm like, Whoa, drink charcoal water, and I did it. Everything came to me, and I trusted, I followed that everything that came through, yeah, right. So I share this story with you because it's relation, it's in relationship with a lot of your audiences, right? Yeah, and that was just my experience that I can speak on when it comes to this, where it I have proof, it's no longer just a story. There's proof. I can show you the vitals, I can show you all the things that we have that I have, and it's the power that we have all within ourselves to believe that we can heal ourselves, to understand that, as I said earlier, diseases and things that happen in our body is a constant communication, it is something there that it wants to be acknowledged, and sure, you can put chemicals into the body and it can force that to be. However, we're entering an era where we can learn how to work with a different type of technology, right? That's provides healing. But it starts with our belief systems. It starts with do you believe that you can heal? First of all, even if you are getting chemotherapy, or even if you are, or do you just believe no, like that's it, it's I'm done. I always say people like, and people would tell me when I work with them, yeah. Well, I just life is really hard. And I said, You're right. If you believe you, if you say you it is, and I just look at me. And I said, Well, what what would a different story feel better for you? And oh, I didn't think about it. Oh, okay. Well, it can be hard, but it's also great, right? Yeah, it is, it can be challenging, but it can also be great, and so yeah, so this just this awareness of just knowing what we say to ourselves can make a big difference, our belief system.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's a powerful story, Alejandro. I hadn't heard that from you before. That's profound. I'm curious about something you mentioned as you were sharing that, though, and specifically as it relates to your family history and that like cancer in particular is something that really runs through your family through your through generations, is true for me as well, which is part of my calling to this field. But I'm curious from this sort of energetic perspective, what are your thoughts there? Because we know, of course, there's like a physiological process that creates cancer cells, but there's also the, like you mentioned,
Cancer Frequency And The Radio Metaphor
SPEAKER_00trauma and emotions and energy. And what would be some thoughts as it relates to cancer in particular?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's a beautiful question. So speaking about energy specifically, right? When it comes to that, an approach that I like to bring into awareness is everything is vibration. Energy is vibrating, okay. So I'm gonna use an example to illustrate this furthermore and to answer your question when I'm talking about this. Okay, so let's say your favorite song. What's your favorite song?
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, I can't answer that question. I don't have one favorite song.
SPEAKER_01Let's say your favorite song, okay? You're let's just think about your favorite song, and let's say we turn on the radio and we go to the AM, and your favorite song is there. Now, it sounds not the greatest, right? It's not the greatest quality, and it's gonna be it's your song, but it's not gonna sound the same, yeah. Right?
SPEAKER_00And staticky.
SPEAKER_01Staticky, exactly. So quite literally, it's a lower frequency, quite literally, right? Now, if we go to the FM, the FM is going to be higher frequencies, quite literally, and you play your song in the FM frequency, and it's the same song, but it sounds different, therefore, it makes you feel different. Okay, so let's just pause there for a moment. So you have a song that is just a song, but the way you're being the way you are receiving it, the way you're interacting with it, will make you feel a certain way. It will give you an experience that will change from high quality to low quality, static key versus clear. And it changes, it changes how you experience that song, right? So both of these frequencies, the AM and the FM, are constantly, simultaneously blasting throughout our earth, right? They're both there. It's the radio, it's the transmitter, right? That that tunes into those frequencies that allows that frequency to come through the speaker for it to be experienced, right? So, in this way, that's the same way, and how we can perceive ourselves, right? We can we need to realize that if we tune into a belief system or a way of living, right, that it's gonna be that's lower vibrational, that's the experience we're gonna have. And so cancer has a lower vibrational frequency, and so when we start to just feed that energy, like we start to engage more with it, it only expands, right? It just makes more sense, and so you have to counter that, you have to be like, okay, this is my favorite song, and it doesn't sound too great right now, right? And that's me that's someone that's going through this cancer experience, and it's well, you know what? I'm gonna change this, and you have to change the way you look at it, right? And you have to vibrate at a higher level and tap into that frequency and tires into a higher level. So if you take a tuning fork, for those of you who don't know what tuning fork is, it's just this metal or this piece of metal that looks like this, right? And it's calibrated to certain frequencies, 428 or 444 hertz, it's in hertz. So you hit it with a mallet with a and then it creates the bee, that's a sound, right? So if you take uh a tuning fork that's let's say 444 hertz, and one of my favorite 528, right? And you bang the 528 tuning fork, it will make this one vibrate without you hitting it. Because it's higher frequency, and it literally will push it out, and the pushing out the vibration will make the other tuning fork vibrate. So, what I'm saying is this that is what I was doing in this meditation, right? In this cleansing, when I was fasting, I was shedding all that energetically, all those chemicals, everything from my body to have a clean vessel. So, energetically, I was tuning, I was listening to music in my meditation, right? I was listening, I was exploring like different hurts and all these things and vibrations and sound balls, healings, and all these things. So that literally was vibrating into my body, but because I cleansed the chemicals, I cleansed all that other energy that was in there, my body could take it a lot easier. I could work with that energy a lot easier. Now, before I finalize this, I just want to say now you could do all these things. Here's what it's important you could do all the things, but if you're like on the fence, if you're like, I don't know, I'm just gonna do it. Let's see if this really works. You are you're like you're saying, like, oh, I want to experience the FM, but I'm gonna just go, I'm really in the AM. I'm still hearing it as a on the AM frequency, right? So it doesn't work like that. So this is important. So we really must surrender to that. And oftentimes when people are in these situations, they when it's life or death, that's when these miracles happen, is because they something deeper within themselves gets unlocked, right? That they believe.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. That's I love that. And so it sounds like sound could be one of the ways to really help you tune in to a different frequency. Are there other methods to do that too?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, focus is everything, right? So, especially nowadays where we are so distracted.
Nervous System Safety And Nature
SPEAKER_01So I always say nature is extremely important, and your focus to while you're in nature. Again, there's science to prove this so that when you put your feet on the ground, you release stress. Stress is huge. Stress is your body being at war, right? It's on survival mode.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_01So the nervous system is so under underrated. There's not enough talk about this, especially if you're going through something as cancer or something as anything like this. I feel it's more important than ever to really learn to regulate your nervous system so your body can feel safe to heal, yeah, right? So your body can feel safe in general, and that's just such an understatement that I cannot emphasize enough. So many of us live in a world where we're in constant survival, we're guarded, we're the body's tight, the body's it's hard on the body, right? So by going to nature and just taking a deep breath, putting your feet or your butt on the ground, and just taking a moment to be part of this natural world, right? And it literally biologically will help you. So you combine that with a little bit of you listen to some music to start meditate, or you close your eyes, or just be there. The nervous system calms down. You're all of a sudden your thoughts bring awareness to your body right now. Okay, is your stomach tight? Is your back are your shoulders tight? Just bring awareness to the body to relax the body, right? So that also is huge. It's not just a matter of working with sound and frequencies. It's it's also hey, bring awareness to you. How are you? And can do you can you give yourself permission to feel safe?
SPEAKER_00So that you to your point, too, about 30 days of fasting is certainly one way to cleanse, right? The system that maybe not everyone's ready to dive into yet. But to your point about being in nature and even just allowing these moments where we come out of fight or flight, that is also a way of cleansing and shifting the frequency, right? Of just releasing stress so that we can then receive all the other things that we might be doing to help ourselves heal.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Within your comment about the 30 days, yeah. Of course, I wasn't ready.
SPEAKER_00When do you no, you just went for it?
SPEAKER_01When I received 30 days, I was like, 30 what 30 days? I a month, but it's but again, this is what comes back to again. This is the this is very real. People are like, ah, I'm not doing that. Okay, then cancer it is. Yeah, what's more important to you 30 days of your life that could change your life or Yeah. And yeah, to your point as well, is it is about deciding, right? And it doesn't have to be extreme. It's not for you, for those of you who are listening, I'm not saying go fast for 30 days. The point that I want you to remember is that I received that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01To trust what you receive. Maybe for you is three days. Maybe for you is not to fast. I don't know. Whatever it is, trust it. That's what I want the listeners to really get out of this. It's just trust what you receive, even though it may seem like it doesn't make any sense, it may seem crazy, or especially if it's oh, I don't know about that. Good, do it. Do it because that's coming from you, it's not coming from anybody else. So if you don't trust yourself, then what does that say about you?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right? So build your relationship with yourself because cancer, all these things, the meaning of life, it really comes down to a relationship with ourselves and with from ourselves out into the world. That it projects out in how we are the relationships we have with other human beings, the relationship that we have with other beings, other planets, and etc. Right. So yes, I understand. You can you it can be a lot. That's why I'm encouraging people. I'm not giving people here a recipe. Don't go do this and I'm saying go explore. Explore, be out in nature and see what comes up. See how you feel, bring awareness to yourself. Maybe put on uh a frequency and go for a walk and just listen to that calming music and bring awareness to you. Wow, like I feel good after start like this, right? And allow yourself to receive guidance because it's within you.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I think that's beautiful. That's exactly the perfect place to start is to just reconnect to really truly, if you've been living years just running on autopilot too, it's like you've just probably have forgotten how to do this. Like, how do I listen to myself? How do I trust? How do I trust it's not anxiety talking or fear talking versus my actual intuition and inner knowing of what's right? But I think to your point, spending time in nature, spending time away from the day-to-day whatever your life looks like, but getting out into nature, regulating your nervous system, you'll start to be able to differentiate that the intuitive knowing versus anxious mind, which can sometimes be confusing at first.
Breathwork Anyone Can Do
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And the last thing I'll share with you, because I just it just came to me really strong. Yeah, it's simple, right? It's breath. Just breath. It doesn't matter if you're in the office, if you're in nature, if you're wherever in the car, breath, breathe, connect with your breath.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right. I we all have experience like where we take that sigh, and it feels so you just do it automatically, you don't even think about it. Pay attention to this, right? So that's a basic thing is work with your breath. When you're feeling anxious, like you said, if you're feeling stressed, take a nice, healthy, deep breath in from your nose, hold it for three to five seconds, and as you're holding, you can feel the tension in your body, and when you exhale out of your mouth, relax your body. Do that three to five times, or however many times it feels good, until you can literally feel you become like, oh wow, I'm yeah, more at peace. So that it doesn't matter how you are. Yeah, you can do it anywhere, and if you have lungs, you can do it. That's great. Yes, we have everything we need to heal, we have everything we need to really just be successful in our life in the most meaningful way. We just need to remember that. Bring bring to awareness into it.
SPEAKER_00That's so beautiful. Thank you, Alejandro.
Ways To Work With Alejandro
SPEAKER_00So tell me before we wrap up, um, obviously, you help people with this. You're on our podcast today, sharing it with everyone. But tell us a little bit more about how you work with people in case anybody would like to reach out to you and learn more about maybe getting some guidance on some of these things we talked about.
SPEAKER_01Beautiful. Thank you. Yeah, I work with people in various different ways. I have one thing that I do is every Sunday or every other Sunday on Sundays when it's available. Uh I do calls online. It's a Zoom call for an hour. We're all tuning and I'll speak about what is in the collective or just the energy that's present. And a lot of that you can feel and or experience through my social platform as all the messages that are there, they're transmitted from that channel space. So it's a great opportunity to ask questions, to tune in, to receive, and it's more of a group setting. If that if you're looking for something more one-on-one, then you offer one-on-one sessions, and those sessions vary as far as I do Reiki, Magnify Healing, Energy W. If you don't know what any of these things are, these are established technologies, like Reiki came from Japan and it's used even in in hospitals in some areas, recognized, and magnify healing, it's an energetic practice, right, that helps with healing the body as well and the different energetic bodies. So I have qualifications for those or initiated in those, and I also have my own channel of connecting people with their soul, clearing energy so that more the channel can be more open, the calibration energetically of chakras, what one would call chakras. So I have sessions like that and different options, and then I have one-on-one. So one-on-one, if you want to do the coaching style, which I don't really like that term, but just like that type of style, we can whether you have goals or things you're trying to work through, you need some support, then I offer those as well. And lastly, and most exciting of them all, my favorite is the retreats, right? Or what I like to call this the journeys and the experiences, where you I host them around different parts of the world, and each location has this very unique energy that I'm working with, uh theme, if you will, archetypes as well. And that's available too. So if you I have one in July, which we'll see what happens. July, it's gonna be Bali, Australia, and then in August is Portugal, and then in the future, there will be or in the fall and winter, there might be Japan, South Africa, and uh here, Hawaii, where I live. And in between that, there's many more that I will do here in California and things like that. Yeah, it's a lot, there's a lot of ways to get connected, and I'm just big on community. So I really want you, whoever's listening, to meet other people. You're not alone, right? And it's a time for us to connect, to share, to listen, and to be walking to support one another, right? So ultimately, that's my goal too is to bring people together and start creating community so we can help each other in this important time that we're in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, thank you. And the work you're doing is so needed and really lovely. So thank you for sharing that. And I will make sure too, for any of you listening in the show notes, you can find the links to all the different ways to connect with Alejandro. So we'll make it as easy as possible for even if you just want to follow him on social. We'll make sure you have all the ways that you can do that. And perhaps we'll be lucky enough to do something in person too at some point. I'm holding that vision in the universe.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much, Alejandro. Really appreciate your time and the work that you're doing and for just being so generous too in all that you shared. I can only imagine how helpful it was for the people listening and that it might have opened up some new ideas, some new pathways for people to explore. So thank you so much.
SPEAKER_01Thank you. Thank you for letting me be here to share just a little bit of my experience and for the opportunity to connect in this way. And thank you for what you're doing as well, because it matters and it's important. So, for those of you who are listening, thank you for listening as well. And I hope that this brought you something, it opened something inside of you, an awareness, it sparked something within you to find a deeper meaning, a deeper layer of life, of meaning for you, and to for you to recognize that that you were here for a reason on this planet, and it matters too, and you too are important. And it's time, it's time that you honor yourself, it's time that you recognize yourself and trust whatever it is that you are experiencing within you because you are worthy of that. And I just want you to all know that. So, wherever you are in your journey, keep breathing, keep trusting and keep expanding.
SPEAKER_00Perfect. Thank you. Have a beautiful day, everyone, and I look forward to seeing you again on next week's podcast episode. Bye for now.
